Having had the best 'Big Sis' growing up and now sharing a wonderful adult relationship with my sister Karen, I value the special bond that big sister can have with a younger sibling. My sister was my pal, my protector, my teacher, my role model, and my hero! I can picture Sabrina being all those things to our next child!

Sabrina is very nurturing and empathetic; we see this in how she treats others. Below you can see her holding her friend Nikki's hand to show her the way to the horses at the zoo when Nikki became nervous.

Everywhere we go Sabrina smiles at babies, waves, and then often sings "Rock a Bye Baby" to them. She is already telling everyone, "I'm going to be a big sister! I'm going to hold our baby … feed our baby … share my toys and binkies … and give our baby kisses." Here she is at the library before story time reading books to her 'little sister Chloe'.

As parents, we will purposely work to foster loyalty, love, and cooperation between our two children so a strong life-long sibling bond will form. Fortunately, we can already see that Sabrina is a fabulous big sister in the making!
